Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda was born on 20 August 1976 in Rohtak, Haryana, his father’s name is Ranbir Hooda he is medical surgeon and mothers name is Asha Devi Hooda she is social worker. He has one sister and brother, his sister name is Anjili Hooda she is Doctor by profession, and his brother Sandeep Hoods is software engineer. Actor did his schooling from Motilal Nehru School of Sports it’s a boarding school situated in Rai, Haryana, he has won number of awards in swimming and equestrian sports. For higher studies actor went to Australia where he took degree in business management and human resource management.
According to sources while pursuing master degree, he worked as waiter in Chinese restaurant and also worked in car workshop where he used to wash cars. And he also worked as taxi driver
Actor returned back to India in 2000 and joined Indian Airline. During his job he stepped into modelling and theater. During his theater days actor came across Bollywood versatile filmmaker Mira Nair she offered him role in her upcoming project Monsoon Wedding which released in 2001, this was his debut flick and he received great applause for his outstanding performance, actor did not got any new project for four years, but he was lucky enough as he was approached by Ram Gopal Varma’s for D in 2005, however this movie did gave recognition to actor as project got flopped.
Well in 2010 actor signed Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010), for the same he received positive reviews from viewers and critics and he became star. Overnight. In 2011 he received IIFA Award for Best Supporting Star in Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster after this very movie he did number of thriller projects like Jannat 2 in (2012), in 2014 actor appeared in biopic titled Rang Rasiya and Sarabjit both the projects managed to become blockbuster hit. In 2016 he appeared opposite Salman Khan in Sultan.

Apart from music he is also animal lover, he usually conduct campaign for street animals and horses, he owns 49 horses, love behind horses is his passion toward Polo, he has opened Polo club in Gurgaon.
