Shoojit Sircar Talking About October Casting

As we all know Varun Dhawan is all set with Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming project “October”, its happening first time when Varun is going to work with Shoojit Sircar. Recently maker of flick came forward and talked about casting of “October”.

During the promotional event filmmaker disclosed “ For lead role he was looking for new face in his 20’s therefor Varun was not on my card, on the other hand I have not watched any of his flicks, however one day he arrived at my office this was the very day a saw him, I was aware of his commercial world as he is a son of renowned filmmaker David Dhawan, however my thinking was wrong, he is ground to earth and innocent artist.

Filmmaker further disclosed he found actor perfect for his project as he not only good dancer he is also a great performer. However I was not sure If he will justify a role. As October is of different genre.

Maker further disclosed casting Wales actress Banita Sandhu was reason as I was looking forward to cast new and fresh face, therefore after meeting Banita I saw brilliant actress with expressive eyes, it was her expression that gave her chance to become part of my project.
